This time, weechonghooi – a Design & Estimation Engineer from Malaysia – share with us his Lomographic journey with his favorite camera in relation to his personality, along with a selection of his favorite shots.

Tell us something about yourself.
Diana F+ has the kind of dreamy effects that I find it suits my personality. I do daydream a lot regardless of when and where I am, including going for outdoor activities, working in office, working at home, day time, afternoon time, evening time. I am a heavy daydreamer, believe this or not, I’ve just did it again for 3 minutes ago.

So, yah, sometimes I caught exactly what I dreamt through my Diana F+, you know when you dream, you don’t see things more than 10 seconds, you can’t remember a person’s face who happened to be your best buddy for no reason in your dream, you can’t see far in dreams. In my dream, there are many uncertainties, blurry, sometimes out of focus, sometimes real sharp. Something like that.

How many Lomographic cameras do you have in your collection?
SuperSampler, LCA+ RL, Horizon Perfekt, Diana F+, Diana mini, HOLGA 120, HOLGA 135, Fisheye 2, Seagull Red/Gold edition (I love it a lot!) and the Lomokino.

Since you are a film camera fanatic, why Diana F+ is your favorite among all?
I love all of them, so it’s hard to choose one. But Diana F+ ends up to be my favorite. First of all, I love to hold any of my lomographic camera in my hand, my first impression of lomography is the “smell” instead of the looks, same goes to my Diana F+. Apart from smell, one reason why I love Diana F+ is because it looks like a toy camera yet it has the classical antiquely analogue kind of look. I think it’s just so simple yet so special.

I love how its shutter “Slashing” & “Clicking”; I love how its advance-spool “Ticking”.
Sometimes, when it’s empty. I even have the habit to click its shutter and turn its advance-spool just to hear their sound. It is very easy to use. As the matter of fact, I used to hate this camera when I first got it. My first 6 rolls had almost make me wanted to throw it away. My photos was mostly misaligned, and was out focus, etc. However, looking back to those pictures, this is what Diana F+ is to me, and this reflects my personality. Starting from then, making mistakes on Diana F+ somehow became my favorite part.

The Google Chrome market will dethrone Mozilla Firefox from the position of second most popular browser by the end of the year.
The statCounter figures show that the share of Chrome on the world market is increasing by about 1% per month at the beginning of 2011.while the share of the firefox on the world market falls each month ,about half a percentage point .According to the statement ,last wednesday, Chrome has 23.16% share market and the firefox is 27.49%.The dominant position is the Internet Explorer from Mirsoft with the share of 41.89%,but those share falls.

It's said that Apple will probable give up using the CD-ROM.And the Ultrabook will follow this .Maybe the CD-ROM will disappear in our eyes someday.
The report said that apple will no longer give the CD-ROM to the 15 inches of the next generation.And the apple Sony PCGA-BP1N battery plans to produce the Ivy Bridge intel without the CD-ROM.

Then what's the new feature of iPod in 2011 and what the little change in 2012?
iPod touch.Now it's white, it's 100 percent identical to the 2010 model. Seriously, after comparing the tech specs page from this year versus 2010, not one thing has changed. And the ipad is still with A5 processor,And the camera hasn't been changed either. It's still the poor camera same as the last year.Some one said that iPod touch would receive a 3G antenna upgrade turned out to be unture.
Ars Technica has questioned why the iPod touch hasn't been updated with the A5 processor when Apple went out of its way to laud iOS devices' potential as handheld gaming units during the latest event. I suspect it's a simpler motivator that their analysis suggests that trends in the overall handheld gaming market and among Apple's own sales figures are falling behind the iPod .
The A5 is reportedly very complex to build.
What is the "A5"? The A5 is a highly-integrated "system on a chip", designed by Apple, based on the same ARM architecture as the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The A5 is dual-core, like most Intel Macs, but still runs at 1GHz, like the original, single-core A4 iPad processor. The A5 graphics engine has been updated, too; Apple claims it is "up to 9 times faster" than the original iPad's graphics hardware. We don't know yet how much memory the iPad 2 has, but to run the new iMovie app we expect it probably has 512 MB (like the iPhone 4, twice the original iPad's memory).
Production of the A6 processor for 2012's iPads and iPhones has reportedly already begun at TSMC, and the foundry's ability to produce that processor in bulk will likely determine the iPod touch's fate. If TSMC can produce the A6 fast enough to satisfy demand for all iOS devices, the iPod touch may see a substantial upgrade next year. Otherwise, it may only move to the A5 processor once the iPad 3 comes out featuring an A6 chip, thereby alleviating strain on A5 production. Either way, unless suppliers can step up their game production-wise, it seems clear the iPod touch will lag behind its more profitable brethren for some time to come.

Maybe th iPod will stick around for years to come .but its days of driving yearly innovation in the portable music player market are pretty much over.
In a word, the iPod donesn't make a big change, but with our eyes that it is changing much better and more useful.So we expect the new feature of iPod.
